Croatian Actor Luka Peros Joins Historical Series “Mehmed: The Conqueror”

Luka Peros Mehmed: The Conqueror: Luka Peros, known for his role as Marseille in the popular crime thriller on the digital platform Netflix “Money Heist,” will join the historical series on the TRT1 channel “Mehmed: The Conqueror.”

Peroš, who had previously visited Turkey as a tourist and shared photos of the sights, met last night for dinner with Serkan Çayoğlu, who plays the lead role in the historical project.

Serkan Çayoğlu shared: “We are very excited. Although we may not have many scenes together on set, we will be constantly together. 47-year-old Croatian actor Luka Peros made a humorous statement with the words, “I really liked Turkish desserts and dishes. I think I’m going to get a belly here.”

Luka Peros revealed that he will be playing the role of the Venetian Giovanni Giustiniani, who long resisted Mehmed the Conqueror in his attempts to capture Constantinople.
