These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the OsmanOnline websites, including osmanonline.club and osmanonline.live (the “Websites”), and of the OsmanOnline social media integrations, including the OsmanOnline TikTok app (together, the “Services”). The Services are operated by OsmanOnline (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. What we offer

OsmanOnline publishes news and articles about Turkish series, their actors and Ottoman and Turkish history, and provides information about episodes of Turkish historical series with English subtitles. Content is provided for general information and entertainment only.

2. OsmanOnline TikTok app

The OsmanOnline TikTok app uses TikTok Login Kit and the TikTok Content Posting API only to upload short videos created by OsmanOnline to the TikTok account of OsmanOnline, after the account owner has signed in with TikTok and authorized the app. The app does not offer sign-in to the public and does not post on behalf of other TikTok users.

  • We request only the permissions needed for this purpose: basic profile information (user.info.basic) to show which account is connected, and permission to upload or publish videos (video.upload, video.publish).
  • Access tokens are stored securely on our server, are never shared with third parties and are used only to upload OsmanOnline videos.
  • Every video is reviewed by a person before it is sent to TikTok. The privacy level and interaction settings of each post are chosen by the account owner.
  • Access can be revoked at any time in the TikTok app (Settings and privacy, Security and permissions, Apps and services) or by contacting us; we then delete the stored tokens.

Your use of TikTok is also governed by the TikTok Terms of Service and the TikTok Community Guidelines.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services: do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Websites or our systems, do not scrape them in a way that harms their availability, do not post unlawful, abusive or spam comments, and do not use the Services in violation of any applicable law.

4. Content and intellectual property

Articles, texts, graphics and videos created by OsmanOnline are protected by copyright. You may share links to our content; any other reuse requires our permission. Names, logos and footage of television series belong to their respective owners and are used for information, commentary and review. Images from Wikimedia Commons and other free sources are used under their licenses and credited where required. If you believe any content infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it promptly.

5. Third-party services and links

The Services may contain links to, or embeds from, third-party websites and platforms (for example TikTok, Facebook, Telegram and video players). We are not responsible for their content, policies or availability.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep information accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, OsmanOnline is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
