Karakuyu Trailer Introduces Özge Törer as Ferda on Kanal D
Kanal D's Karakuyu trailer introduces Özge Törer as Ferda, a woman facing her past.
Kanal D has released the first trailer for its new drama Karakuyu. It introduces Ferda, played by Özge Törer, a woman who built a new life under a changed identity and must now face her past. Onur Tuna appears in the trailer as Kahraman.
According to Milliyet, the story begins when Ferda receives an unexpected inheritance after many years. The inheritance takes her back to the land where she grew up.
What the Karakuyu trailer shows
The trailer cuts between Ferda’s past and her present. Its key line is “Fikriye ölmeden Ferda doğamaz!”, which means roughly “Ferda cannot be born until Fikriye dies.” The line suggests that Ferda and Fikriye are connected, and that Ferda’s new identity replaced an earlier one.
Milliyet says the footage hints at a secret behind the story, but the report does not explain it. We therefore do not guess who Fikriye is or what happened to her. The trailer also sets up a storyline between Ferda and Kahraman, which Milliyet says drew attention on X.
What is still unconfirmed
The Milliyet report does not give a broadcast date for Karakuyu, so viewers should wait for an official announcement from Kanal D. It also does not list the full cast or the episode count.
Some Turkish outlets use the spelling “Kara Kuyu”, and one reports a different name for the lead character. This article follows the Karakuyu spelling and the name Ferda, as used by Milliyet.
Why Karakuyu matters to drama viewers
Karakuyu is a contemporary drama, not a historical one. Its main theme, a person returning to the place she tried to leave behind, is familiar in Turkish television. Viewers who follow Özge Törer and Onur Tuna will have the trailer as their first look at the two leads together in this story. The next official update should be a premiere date from the broadcaster.
