What happens in the Güneşin Doğduğu Yer oath scene
According to atv, Kenan begins to suspect his mother after Leyla speaks to him. He wonders whether Celadet stood behind a trap set in Berlin. He confronts her directly.
Pressed by his questions, Celadet has a Quran brought in. She swears that she had no part in what Leyla went through. Kenan cannot imagine his mother lying on such an oath, and he tears up as he shows that he believes her.
The broadcaster’s description presents the oath as a lie. The storyline treats Celadet’s involvement as real, even though Kenan accepts her word.
Celadet’s prayer after the lie
The scene does not end with Kenan’s trust. Alone with her conscience, Celadet turns to God and asks for mercy. In atv’s account, she says she did everything for her son and her family, and for their peace and happiness. She then repents and begs to be forgiven.
The Turkish word for this repentance is tövbe. It means turning back to God and asking forgiveness for a wrong. By using it, the series shows that Celadet understands the weight of what she has done.
Why the scene matters for viewers
The sequence sets a mother’s love against her honesty. Celadet defends her actions as protection for her family, yet she cannot silence her own doubts. That tension may shape how viewers judge her in later episodes.
