TIMS&B Prepares for a New ‘Magnificent Century’

Upcoming Historical Series Aims to Captivate Audiences

TIMS&B is on the brink of launching a new epic saga, reminiscent of the acclaimed “Magnificent Century” (Muhteşem Yüzyıl). Esteemed journalist Sina Kologlu relayed insights from an interview with the company’s sales director, Selin Arat, featured in TV Latina magazine. Arat disclosed that preparations are underway for what is anticipated to be the next monumental historical series.

A massive film studio, sprawling across 26,000 square meters, stands ready for production. The scriptwriting team has embarked on drafting the initial script. “It’s envisioned as a blend of ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Magnificent Century’, minus the dragons,” Arat explained.

A Grand New Project from TIMS&B ‘Magnificent Century’

The Magnificent Century” has cemented itself as a hallmark of the Turkish television industry. Its impact, evident during its broadcast in Turkey, the substantial sales in international markets, and the significant sociological implications of its storyline (particularly in the Middle East), persists. This legacy endures. “TIMS&B has excelled in this area,” Arat asserted.

When pressed for more specifics about the forthcoming project, creators remained tight-lipped, deeming it premature to divulge further details. What is clear, however, is that this series will transport viewers to a majestic period of the Ottoman Empire, inspired by a literary work.
